Celebrate the beginning of summer at our next Rhythm on the River concert June 23rd at Bicentennial Park with the internationally renowned Fabulous Thunderbirds featuring Kim Wilson. Head to the stage, and picnic under the stars with the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department’s Strawberry Food Truck and Donato’s Pizza! Food and beverage sales begin at 6:30 PM and music starts at 7:30 PM with Columbus’ own Hadden Sayers Band.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds featuring Kim Wilson have generated a world-wide fan base by leading tours with The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton. Since the beginning of their musical career, the band’s sound constantly expands including harmonica laced swamp blues, R&B, unrivaled musicianship and unique vocals. Commander of the harmonica, Kim Wilson, drives the band’s powerful sound with fan hits like “Tuff Enuff,” “Wrap it Up” and “Powerful Stuff.” The band will always be devoted to their background of blues, R&B and rock n’ roll, however they continue to experiment with new sounds and techniques as their music evolves
