FountainSide Fun Challenge: Inspired by Pilot Dogs
Posted on July 12, 2016
Check out the Scioto Mile blog all summer long for a weekly FountainSide Fun Challenge. Our community partners will share and inspire an array of hands-on activities, crafts, and games for family-friendly fun at home all summer long. Leap around the fountain with friends, but be sure to stop by your favorite Columbus groups for plenty of learning!
This week’s FountainSide Fun Challenge comes from Pilot Dogs! Pilot Dogs is headquartered right here in Columbus and looks to Columbus families to adopt their puppies and help raise them until they are ready to become a visual aid dog to the blind. This week, we challenge YOU to create your own dog ears! Use the photos below to cut out the pieces for your ears and decorate them however you like.
Need a snack while you create? Whip up this sweet treat called “Puppy Chow”!
Join Pilot Dogs at FountainSide Wednesday, July 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In addition to splashing around the fountains with the Fountain Frog, get crafty with OSU Urban Arts Space, learn to eat healthy with Local Matters and leap over to CDC Head Start to learn about the life of a frog!
Additional activities this week are hosted by Lowe’s and the Buckeye Mobile Tour.
